The 7TH BalatonSAX International Saxophone and Clarinet Academy will be held in Balatonfüred, Hungary, between 18-23 July, 2023

Location of the course:

Balatonfüred Reformed Primary School (8230 Balatonfüred, 2 Iskola street.)

Ferencsik János Music School Balatonfüred (8230 Balatonfüred, 13 Ady Endre street)

Application Fee: 450€, which includes the followings:

– Individual lessons from all professors

– chamber music

– orchestra

– testing of instruments and accessories of the exhibitors

– workshops

– practising

– concerts

– participation in the 2nd BalatonSAX International Saxophone Competition

David Salleras (Spain, Girona Conservatory of Music) – saxophone

Bence Szepesi (Hungary, University of Miskolc) – clarinet, saxophone

Jozsef Balogh (Hungary/Germany, Lübeck Music School) – clarinet

Kenneth Tse (USA, University of Iowa) – saxophone

Paul Cohen (USA, Manhattan School of Music New York) – saxophone

Stathis Mavrommatis (Greece, President of the Greek Saxophone Association) – saxophone

Accommodation (on request): Szent Benedek College Dormitory – 8230 Balatonfüred, Hősök square 1.

Quadruple dormitory rooms with own bathroom: 20€/night/person

Meals (in the dormitory on request):

Breakfast: 1.200 HUF

Lunch: 1.800 HUF

Dinner: 2.000 HUF

Other possibility for food:

Breakfast: Carpe Diem Coffee – 8230 Balatonfüred, Szent István square 7.

Lunch: Nádas Restaurant, Balatonfüred, Déryné street 6, 8230

We cannot supervise underage students (under 18) outside of the professional programs (e.g.: Lunch/Dinner/Leisure time), so we require parental consent from minors enrolled on the course.
